Why is removing insulation infested with rodent feces so important?
Rodents soil our indoor environments with urine and feces. Studies have shown that these droppings
are a major allergen for children with asthma. Rodents contaminate our food supplies with potentially harmful germs
and bacteria like salmonellosis (bacterial food poisoning) when food is contaminated with infected feces and like the

Hanta virus is a rarely contracted disease but it can be fatal even with treatment.

gnaw on objects to wear down these teeth so they do not grow too long. This gnawing activity can cause damage to
electrical lines, often this damage is hidden in an attic or crawl and creates a safety hazard, an estimated 5%
of house fires in the united states are caused by rodent damage.

roosts are often found to be breeding grounds for certain types of spores which can cause a serious infection

Other animals like flying squirrels and raccoons will pick a location near a nesting area and create a latrine
by constantly returning to the same spot to defecate, flying squirrels urinate frequently and the latrine
will typically stain through underneath an eve or under siding and even a ceiling.
